Happy Easter

Let us all be thankful for the Love of God has given us, that He gave is only Son, Jesus Christ, to save us from our sins and give us the opportunity to be reunited with Him in Heaven...

holy week....repent

Ano nga ba ang saysay ng holy week sa buhay ng isang Christian... Sabi nila its the time when Jesus has saved us from our sins.  Thus, for us to be saved we have to seek forgiveness for all the sins we have committed throughout the year. And part of our repentance is we also do observe fasting, and we also abstain from doing things that makes our earthly body happy like partying, drinking...

But, do we still observe all these things, refrain from having wild parties, drinking eating as much as too much?

Nowadays, you will notice that most of us do observe holy week by spending with friends out in the beach, partying until dawn, drinking, dancing wild, smoking....

Its so sad that many of us have forgotten the real essence of holy week, For God so loved the world, He gave us His only Son Jesus Christ to die in the cross in order for us to be saved and to give us the chance to be with Him.

"Lord Jesus, thank you, for saving us from our sins and for giving us the chance to be reunited with our Father.  Amen."

There are moments in my life that I really feel like I wanna give up, gusto ko na lang na maglaho na dito sa mundo and leave everything behind.... sa dami ng problemang hinaharap ng tao sa araw araw hindi naman siguro kalabisan na maisip mo ang ganito. And yet we still manage to move on, to strive, para saan ba talaga ang mga sakripisyon ng isang OFW, ng isang ina... malayo ka sa mga anak mo, ni hindi mo makita ang kanilang  mga developments, pag umiiyak sila iba ang umaalo, pag may masakit sa kanila, hindi mo mahaplos.  Hindi ka nila makasama sa mga okasyon... hirap, pero pag maisip mo naman na lahat ng ito ay para magkaroon sila ng magandang kinabukasan, stable na finances para may pantustos sa kanilang daily living and education... ano pa ba ang hahanapin mo.

Magtitiis ako ang magtitiis dito masiguro ko lang na makakapag-aral ang mga anak ko at mabigyan ko sila ng maayos na kinabukasan.
